What it does without being asked

Chattree posts unprompted in three cases, and each one is yours to turn off:
  • A welcome, when somebody joins.
  • The weekly roundup, a short summary of what the group got into. It can come to you for approval first, or post on its own.
  • Dates coming closer, when you have told it something is coming.
Everything unprompted is limited — by the group’s quiet hours, by how often the number it shares with other groups may post at all, and by a per-group ceiling on each kind. Those limits exist to keep the number healthy; a group that is posted at too often is a group that mutes you.
